A moment that came and went

I've just came back from a quick walk with Amy and Kyle along the harbour behind The Great Pink, and saw a sky-full of floating lanterns. Fireworks were setting off from all directions, while here and there there were people shouting New Year greetings to random strangers. Fireworks mirrored by the water, sparklers dancing from the opposite side of the harbour, and floating lanterns that seems like thousands of temporary stars in the skies. Old ladies by their balconies with night dresses and glasses of champaign, families and friends coming out from their warm comfortable homes for the spectacular view. Amazing!

Happy New Year all!

And since I've decided to leave my camera at home this time, to just enjoy the moment, here are some fireworks photos I took during Malaysia's 50th year of Independence in Putrajaya (2007)
